40 Years of Silence, an Indonesian Tragedy

IKOHI in cooperation with Offstream, Komnas HAM and Elemental Production, held public screening of the documentary film "40 Years of Silence, An Indonesian Tragedy" at the Goethe House on July 23, 2009, in Jakarta.

It is a strong documentary film on the tragedy in Indonesia in 1965 and its aftermath, when about 1 million people accused as the members and sympathizers of the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) were arrested, made disappeared and slaughtered.
